While Harrison was drinking and whore his way across the UK, the lovely ladies of the Echoplex Media family got together for the very first Ladies Night on Face For Radio. When Netflix first introduced the world to its new show Stranger Things, I don't imagine they anticipated what runaway hit it would be. With the show already being signed for a second season, Face For Radio took an opportunity during a recent episode to talk about what a phenomenal program Stranger Things is, and what we can expect from the Duffer Brothers next.
Back after a brief-ish hiatus, Face For Radio recorded two episodes while Harrison was slumming his way across the British Isles. In the first one, we talk the brand-new Star Wars: Rogue One trailer, the pile of doo-doo that was Suicide Squad, how Netflix's Stranger Things is changing the face of cinematic storytelling, and a host of other random stuff. Season Six of Game Of Thrones has officially drawn to a close, marking the end of the most ambitious and epic phase of the story yet. All of the major power structures is Westeros have been completely upended once again, just in time for the Mother Of Dragons to make her way across the Narrow Sea to completely shake things up even further. So many incredible things happened over the course of this season that it was impossible to cover them all in the time we had, but we sure as hell tried, and had a great time doing it.
In which we discuss grooming Darth Vader for upper management, supervillains that love to cuddle, Harrison's bright future as a food product, and how we're not nearly as cool as the nerds in the Czech Republic. All this and more on Face For Radio LIVE, coming to you every other Thursday at echoplexmedia.com!
On a recent episode, Echoplex Media's very own VIking took the opportunity to educate us soft and flabby Southerners on her current favorite television program other than Game Of Thrones, The History Channel's epic historical drama Vikings. Based loosely on the "Saga Of Ragnar Lodbrok," Vikings is an incredible feat of television, which the rest of us had not yet seen any of at the time this was recorded. We're lucky The Viking herself didn't give each of us an axe to the forehead.
