On December 16, 2015, friend of SOAPBOX and Echoplex Media Peter Allen formally announced his candidacy for San Jose City Council District Six during a fantastic kickoff party at the SLG Art Boutiki, one of his favorite local music venues. Peter gave an impassioned speech about his vision for San Jose's future, who and what got him to where he is today, and what it will take to bring about a better tomorrow for everyone in the Silicon Valley and beyond.
